I will admit that my farm is nothing special really, it is the story behind it that makes it the farm of the week.  See, I am a Soldier currently serving in Iraq.  Farm ville is one of the only distractions that I can have over here.  About a month ago I got an idea in my head about a special message I wanted to send to my wife, who has lovingly supported me through multiple deployments.  A message that she tried to tell me last time I deployed, but I brushed off.  This time however I plotted and planned.  Got out my graph paper.  Restructured my farm, putting away buildings and plowing more fields to make things ready.  I had to pick out just the right crops to give my message the right flair.  I also had to wait until a time when I knew she would be awake and my farm would be ready, no small endeavor being half a world away.
So here in the photo is the message I wanted my wife to see.  Because we have been apart so much over the last 7 years and now we are moving on to a new assignment where we don’t have to worry about deploying for a while.  What a more perfect way to reconnect then to recommit our love for each other.  All because of a simple message sown into the fields of my farm.
Oh, and she said yes!!!!
